BE-Theory LLC, the developer of Friendly SQL for Oracle, today announces the released version 1.2 of Friendly SQL for Oracle. The newly upgraded version provides enhanced password security, new Oracle Home and tnsnames support, a simplified setup wizard, and improved startup times.
Friendly SQL for Oracle version 1.2 adds new user-requested features like stored password encryption, multiple Oracle Home support, and tnsnames file detection to an already feature-rich Oracle Browser/SQL Editor. Also included in version 1.2 are a new one-page Simple Setup Wizard and 75% faster startup time.
These new features increase the overall usability of Friendly SQL by removing all configuration tasks from users. The addition of automatic Oracle Home setup, tnsnames file detection and saved password encryption enables users to connect to an Oracle database by merely installing Friendly SQL and selecting from a list of databases.
