New Online Venture Delivers Project Management Templates for Project Managers

GetProjectTemplates.com has released their first product into the Project Management tool market. The new website offers a suite of Microsoft Word and Excel document templates and forms to help professional Project Managers create standards based project documentation. Several of their document templates are offered at no charge, while others can be purchased individually or as a complete set of project templates.

Although a backward compatible version is available, this new suite of Project Management templates was designed and developed specifically for use with Microsoft Office 2007. Advanced Office features used by these templates include SmartArt, Themes, document fields, embedded objects and new charting techniques. Such features make these templates easier to complete and better looking than previously possible using older office suites.

The set of templates include over twenty-five common project management documents, forms, and spreadsheets, based on "http://www.pmi.org"Project Management Institute (PMI) standards. The goal of these is to provide Project Managers a starting point when creating project documentation, thereby saving time and producing more consistent results.

Since launching in June, GetProjectTemplates.com has exceeded its projected sales goals and plans to release a new installation package in early August.
