PowerReuse - Document Reuse Made Easier

SoftPowerhouse announces the release of version 1.0 of PowerReuse, a reliable solution to manage frequently used MS Office documents. It organizes related Word, Excel and PowerPoint files into projects for better accessibility, updates many documents at a time and pastes pieces of text from the created library by simple drag & drop.

The tool offers three functions significantly facilitating work with large amounts of Office documents. The features of the tool are especially useful because PowerReuse is not limited to Word files only. Unlike similar software, mostly supporting only Word documents, PowerReuse supports files created in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Firstly, PowerReuse synchronizes files of all three above mentioned Office applications into a single database. The program keeps the list of documents and helps you to organize related ones into projects, thus enabling quick access to them in one click. You can be sure that you will find a necessary document immediately.

The second feature of PowerReuse will be of much help when you wish to paste a chunk of text you already have into other documents. The so-called 'Content Reuse' feature allows organizing recurrently used bits of text into a library for quick and effortless data management. Not only can you instantly find a piece of text you need but also insert it into a document by simple drag & drop. The library is designed to work with your MS Office 2003 or 2007, so it perfectly fits its interface and makes a very convenient addition.

Finally, PowerReuse comes with the Global Update feature. Files that are attached to one project can be modified all together at once. The feature allows you to make changes in one document and get all related files updated automatically. The Global Update outperforms the Find and Replace feature of MS Office as it's more precise and won't ever run undesirable updating as it happens with the latter. The Global Update is very powerful and requires only a slight effort to keep all Office files in a proper consistency.

Pricing and Availability
PowerReuse runs under Microsoft Windows XP (SP2), Vista and costs $299 (USD) for a single-user license. The program requires Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007 to be installed. Licensed customers are entitled to the fully-functional version of the product, free technical support and free upgrades.
