June, 2009 For immediate release. Accessing USB devices data became easier! HHD Software, Ltd. introduces new software product the USB Monitoring Control. This is a library for Windows platform, which allows you to monitor the USB devices in your application. By using the USB Monitoring Control in your software product, you get an ability to intercept all activity of USB devices. The library provides you with complete data and USB Request Blocks (URBs) exchanged between the USB device and user application, which makes it a powerful utility for hardware development, monitoring software development, USB protocol implementation and much more. USB Monitoring Control lets you enumerate all installed USB devices and attach a monitor object to receive transferred data and control packets. It then monitors the system for USB devices and notifies your code of their activity. Included in the package you will find the library and accompanying filter driver, redistributable components, header and library files for native clients, detailed documentation with multiple how-tos, sample code snippets and full code reference, as well as a number of sample applications, showing how to use the library in multiple languages and environments. Sample applications are written in C++, C# (.NET platform), Javascript and Delphi. System Requirements: USB Monitoring Control will run under Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 Beta & RC. Both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems are natively supported. It requires 256MB of RAM and 5.0MB of free hard disk space. Availability: USB Monitoring Control is available under two different licenses.
