Artifact Desktop is a Personal Code Manager that helps you to find, manage, and use code, and other programming resources, regardless of location. The Artifact Desktop makes it possible to search multiple code-sharing websites with a single query, easily organize your personal stash of programming assets, and Instant Message others to get fast answers to your programming questions. This can all be done without leaving the comfort of your IDE.

Next to my IDE, AD2 is the most used coding too on my box. The community support thus far is inspiring. The heart of Artifact desktop is the idea of sharing artifacts, which can be everything from articles to C# projects to full-fledged programs. People contribute their work, help others on the bulletin board, and talk about real life coding situations in the chat rooms. It is well worth your time. The only drawback I found was that the interface can be a little confusing, but the helpfiles cleared up most of my questions, and the staff of Artifact Software handled the rest via a chat session. Again...well worth your time.
