It is true that the interface isn't particularly flashy or customizable, but its ease of use more than makes up for it. An online Help file is brief but adequate. The program offers both playlists and filters to allow users to organize their music collections, and there are a few fun social media features thrown in as well; users can have QuuxPlayer update their Twitter or Last.fm accounts with what they're currently listening to. Overall, there was nothing about QuuxPlayer that really blew us away, but we appreciated its emphasis on simple navigation and commonsense features that work. QuuxPlayer Standard Edition is free.
