3DS Import for Pro/ENGINEER 1.0.1.0 Free download

3DS Import is a plug-in that gives Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire the ability to import geometric data from 3DS files. It reads polygon mesh data stored in 3DS files and imports it into Wildfire. A polygon mesh is comprised of a set of triangular faces. It creates trimmed planar surfaces for each triangular face and knits them together to create a body. If the polygon mesh is closed then this plug-in will create a closed body feature, otherwise an open surface will be created. It has user-friendly interface. It adds new commands and menus to Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. After installation, you have to load it into Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire environment.
