PowerISO is a powerful CD/DVD-Image-File-processing -tool, which allows you, to open, extract, create, edit, pack unpack, split and convert ISO-files and to install these files by an intern virtual drive. It is able to work with nearly all CD-ROM- image files, including ISO and BIN. PowerISO can be user easily because it supports shell integration with context menu, drag and drop, and cut and past on the clipboard. With PowerISO you can: 1. Open and extract ISO -files. 2. Create ISO files from hard disc files or create CD/DVD- ROM. 3. Edit an existing ISO file directly. 4. Convert image files between ISO/BIN and other formats. PowerISO is able to convert nearly every image- file - format to a standard ISO- format- file. 5. Creation of a bootable ISO file, fetching of boot information out of the bootable ISO- file. 6. Creation of a floppy- disc- image file. 7. Optimization of files to save memory while saving the ISO -file. 8. Arrangement of an ISO-file with virtual drive. You must not install other virtual drive software. 9. Pack, unpack or splitting of image files. DAA (Direct-Access-Archive) is an advanced format for image files, that supports some advanced features, like for example packing, password safety and splitting of carious volumes. It can be handled directly even as the other formats, for example ISO and BIN.
