PodWorks improve the negative aspects of iPods. It is a Mac OS X application. If you want to transfer your data from one Mac to other using iPod or want to save songs only in your iPod then you can't do this using Apple. You can only copy songs to iPod using Apple. To improve reliability you just rewrite the "Send to iTunes" AppleScript. Before transfer anything you must added a check to make sure that iTunes give you response or not. It has additional preferences for iTunes transfers. It has transfer mode "metadata only". "Last Played Date" gives you metadata about PodWorks. Sorting order of song give you perfect match of with iTunes.
