Astra Image 3.0 PRO gives you advanced, easy-to-use image processing, deblurring, enhancement and analysis tools. Features like deconvolution, wavelet sharpening and FFT filtering mean you can quickly and easily produce outstanding images. In addition, you can measure your images using aperture photmetry and visualize them in fully rendered 3D intensity plots. You can process images in 24 and 48-bit color as well as 16 and 32-bit grayscale. * Deconvolution: Astra Image implements three kinds of deconvolution: maximum entropy, Lucy Richardson and Van Cittert. All deconvolution methods work on color and grayscale images. Astra Image's industry leading deconvolution methods are fast and unconditionally stable so you can great results fast. * Wavelet sharpening: You can sharpen your images quickly and easily at different scales. This produces outstanding results. * FFT filtering: The FFT filters in Astra Image allow you to sharpen or blur your images. You can choose from ideal or Butterworth filters. * Statistics: Calculate statistics quickly which can then be sent directly to Microsoft Excel for further analysis. Histograms can be calculated and displayed for each image channel. * 3D visualization: Create fully rendered 3D intensity plots. Lighting, material, rotation, zoom, chart type and chart options are all adjustable and the results displayed in real time. * Aperture photometry: measure the brightness of stars with incredible accuracy using Astra Image's photometry function. Adjustable aperture and annulus settings as well as partial-pixel calculations mean that you get accurate, repeatable results. The results can be graphed, saved or sent directly to Microsoft Excel. * Resampling: six resampling methods give you high quality results. In addtion to the features listed above, Astra Image also does: brightness and contrast, gamma, DDP, levels, curves, adaptive filtering, convolution filtering, rotation, metadata and much more.
