Publisher description for stencil2word

stencil2word program icon

A small command-line utility for image resizing and splitting. It's name corresponds to the initial purpose - printing out large stencils (kind of graffiti art) using A4 paper and *.doc format. But it can work with any images, for example with photos from your cam (you may wish resize it in order to decrease size of the files). Thanks to the command-line interface it is easy to do Batch processing. How to use For example, we have an image test.jpg with the size of 600X800 Resize Image test.jpg and save it as test2.jpg. Note that it is only the height of output that we specify, width is calculated automatically proportionally to the original size. stencil2word --folder --new-height=1600 test.jpg test2.jpg Now resize the image and Split it in 3 pieces, that will be saved as separete files in the specifed directory. stencil2word --folder --new-width=1200 --piece-width=400 --piece-height=1600 test.jpg output_dir\ Resize the image and export it to Word, to print it later using A4 parper and a common printer. stencil2word --word --new-width=1200 test.jpg output.doc
