MP3 Splitter 3 Free download

I tried various other utilities while attempting to split edit mp3s. This was the only one that actually did what I wanted and by far the easiest to use. I even tried the demos of the high priced utilities and they couldnt do what this did.

This one is the best I've seen on download.com so far. It's very easy to use and does inlcude some good splitter features like playback of the segment that's split and increment/decrement the beginning/end of the split segment. The one thing that would have made this program well worth it would have been a graphical representation of the audio instead of just a slider bar. If the developer adds this then they would have my money in a second. It's just too time consuming for me to playback the MP3 and listen for the exact point at which the silence ends after a song. Also, a decibal value of the audio playing would help. The joining works great.

The software boasts a visual interface of the sound file, but it's just a solid bar. It should be a graph with peaks and valleys so one can see exactly where something needs to be trimmed instead of guessing based on a clock moving at the speed of time.
