River Past PlayDV is a DV player and recorder software which enables you to view your DV tape on your PC. It gives you the full control over the DV camcorder that is connected to your PC via 1394 iLink connection. You can play, pause, stop, rewind, fast forward, step backward, and step forward the tape in the same way you control a VCR. It gives you a facility to resize playback window and supports hog plug. You can connect and disconnect the camcorder, and it will detect the change automatically. It is compatible with Windows Vista and just require DirectX 8.0 and above.

River Past PlayDV is a flexible Digital Video software that enables you to record video. You can record video using this software in different formats such as AVI-DV files, or a plain DV file. The software accord you a good view of what you are recording via its resizable window. This window lets you adjust the size of the picture according to your taste .If you want to view the DV tape on your PC, all you have to do is use the 1934 iLink connection to connect the camcorder to your PC. Whenever you connect or disconnect your camcorder, the software automatically senses this.
