The Mortgage Matrix Calculator is a powerful 32 bit two-dimensional grid calculator which can carry out and display many mortgage calculations under varying conditions at one time, allowing you to quickly review at a glance the effects of many different conditions on a loan. It utilizes the four basic mortgage parameters, loan amount, term, Interest rate, and payment. Two of the parameters are varied over a range of preselected values while another is designated as a constant. The fourth parameter becomes the answer "variable" and is displayed on the grid in a 2-D matrix. Up to 2,500 possible Answers can be displayed on the matrix. The Mortgage Matrix Calculator allows every possible Combination, 12 in all, of the four parameters. Additionally, it offers the option of calculating answers for both standard monthly and biweekly payment mortgages. As a result, the calculator offers 24 different possible grid configurations for typical mortgages. Calculation grids can be copied, saved, exported, opened, and printed. Information and costs for a loan represented by one of the grid cells can be examined by clicking on the cell to Highlight it. This loan cost summary information can be saved to a log file, retrieved and printed. An amortization schedule can also be generated, viewed, saved, exported and printed for a loan represented by a highlighted cell. The schedule includes annual and running sums of payments, principal, and interest. You can highlight a selected range of answers on the grid. Summaries of a highlighted range loans can be prepared, saved, copied, and printed. You can add extra payments and balloon payments to amortization schedules. Additionally, plots of amortization and payments can be generated. You can chose to save your custom calculator settings when exiting the program. Custom headings can be added to reports.
