GnuCash

The account register is the GnuCash window which allows you to view or edit preexisting contact, or add new transactions for a particular account. To enter the account register, simply highlight the account name in the account tree window and double click to open it. You can also click the Open button in the Toolbar or use the right mouse button menu to open the account. It will display the account register window.
