Publisher description for Talking Time Keeper

Talking Time Keeper program icon

Talking Time Keeper (TTK) is a program encompassing a wide range of useful time and date related features, including the ability to speak the time using built in real life male and female voices, alarms and countdown timers (including snooze timers), 250+ world time locations (editable), a day/night world map, phase of the moon, multiple stop watches with lap timers, and atomic time synchronisation via the internet. TTK comes complete with an easy to use voice building tool, so you can make your own voices to use in TTK, all you need is a microphone. Extra downloadable voices are also available from the web site. All this is presented in a state-of-the-art animated interface using time lapse photography of the sky. The interface is both easy to use and designed to give the user as much flexability as possible for preferences. You can decide exactly what is displayed and can even add a personal touch by displaying a photo of your choice.

...must be, as I bought a copy.

The interface is beautiful, and quite revolutionary, I've never seen an animation merged into a window like that before. The voice builder is excellent fun (I got my kids to do a voice in only 15 mins), and I've been looking for a day and night map of the world for years (handy if relatives overseas). It's got everything if you're looking for a time related program, and the built in voices sound great, I have them say the time every hour at work.

This program has all it's competitor's features rolled into one, and mostly does them better. I've tried 'Say The Time', and it's not even in the same league as this, and yet it seems to get alot of downloads. I guess advertising counts for alot. My advice - don't follow the crowd!

I'd miss it now if it wasn't there. Loads of useful features. Also, I had a question about the application, and the support was swift, friendly, and efficient.

I've tried a bunch of them and this is the best one. It has all the features you'll ever need, a good layout so it isn't too complicated, and looks quite well done. It uses 13,588K of memory according to my task manager, and that's the only dark spot that I've noticed to this program (and that's not TOO much memory usage).
