CCleaner is a free diagnosis tool for Windows with a clear interface. Its fast scan ability is really helpful and you can chose which part of you PC should be cleaned and how. CCleaner is know for discovering hidden faulty files on a computer, which you would never could find on your hard disc using normal search and scan functions. There is also incorporated registry scanner which identifies possible problems in the registry and heals them. CCleaner is even able to save you registry from clearing, in the case that it accidentally would delete an important component. You do not have to use the control panel to use the programs add/delete option, only choose the program and CCleaner does the rest for you.
Cons
CCleaner includes an optional Yahoo toolbar, which you possibly by error could install together with the program if you are not careful enough. The installation of this toolbar could release warnings of certain anti spyware programs. A part of that the CCleaner registry - scan function is not sufficiently profound and the software lacks a secure file shredder. CCcleaner do not support a great number of other programs (but some of the competition programs do this)

Over all CCleaner is a good application, even though it can still not be used under Windows Vista. As en efficient tool it is a must for all Windows users and possibly because it?s freeware it comes with adware or spyware. All in all CCleaner is a splendid stimulation for your computer. Because it shows clearly what was cleaned, you can reassure yourself that it will not remove important things.
