It can play a single audio file, a folder full of audio files, or CD audio tracks. You can play audio without Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, or other audio players open. Tested using Windows XP Professional and Windows Media Player 9. The Widget is able to play MP3 (.mp3), WAVE (.wav), WMA (.wma), AIFF (.aif .aiff), and Sun/NeXT (.au .snd) sound files. Accepts Playlist File Formats M3U ("m3u"), WPL ("wpl") or WAX ("wax") containing valid media items. Functions: · Open and closed modes. · Display currently playing song, elapsed and remaining time. · Play / Pause / Stop, Next song / Previous song and Random song controls. · Volume control. · Click on the "Mode" button to open the player.
