Publisher description for FlashControl for Chrome
Web Browser plug-ins that act like multi-media players, such as Adobe's Flash Player, can use an inordinate amount of CPU and can potentially disrupt your Web browser. Such low performance is attributed, often unfairly, to the Flash player, when in FACT it's due in part to a Flash developer's inefficient code. FlashControl helps you deal with problematic Flash content by allowing you to choose when they are loaded into memory, and when they are rendered onto the screen. It's support for both black and white lists also lets you selectively choose Flash content to be permanently blocked or allowed. A toolbar will be attached to the top-left corner of every Flash player. Each toolbar holds three buttons: 1) loads/unloads the Flash player, 2) toggles the Flash player's visibility, 3) adds the Flash content to either a black or white or list.
