Initially I was impressed with the demo. However once I bought a licence and started to develop some code my opinion soon changed. I wanted to record from two devices simultaneously. No problem you would have thought, just instantiate two audio capture objects and begin recording. Nope. I was unable to refresh the input pins for any of the devices so could only see audio input pins for one device. I got in touch with viscomsoft’s support and after numerous ignored emails I sent another highlighting my annoyance; I got an immediate response. To be fair they made an attempt to fix the problem but the new executable caused some critical runtime error (they were trying to call a pure virtual method). It turned out that they could not test their code because they did not have sufficient hardware. Also when emailing viscomsoft, whether it was sales@, support@, etc I always got a response from ‘Jimmy’, so it looks like viscomsoft is a one man band. He also spoke very broken English and communication was difficult when he actually decided to reply to an email.
