ActiveX OCX to access and control any soundcard mixer installed in the system , full support to multiples soundcards , full support to Volume , Recording or others extended multimedia devices , compatible with Win95 / Win95(osr2) / Win98 / Winnt 4.0 / Windows 2000 , the method that this control Detect the multimedia devices will make it compatible with future multimedia devices to be added to the Windows plataform. What is new in version 2.0.1 (21/07/2000) : Added support to MUX_LIST and MIXER_LIST based controls ( the version 2.0.1 is the first version capable of handling these kind of mixer controls , these controls are normaly used in the Recording control settings of some soundcards ) , added support to get and set the left and right channels independently , added support to create and use simulation files , then you can simulate the presence of specific soundcards in your system without the requirement of inserting and installing the soundcard ( virtual mixer driver ) ( some simulation files are available in our BW Mixer OCX homepage , and it has a extension .BWM ) , added the possibility to change the multimedia settings in the control panel directly from the mixer control ( the "Use only preferred device" setting , and the selection of the Default Playback device , these settings define the method that the operating system handle the output sound in the system , and it will interfere also with all the DirectX based software in the system , since the DirectX plays the media files in the default soundcard in the system ) , added more error handlings , minor bugs fixed.
