TXLSFile is a Borland Delphi library for reading and writing of Excel XLS files directly in a few lines of code. TXLSFile does not use or require Microsoft Excel, and lets you bypass OLE Automation. The library provides unprecedented access speed, and processes up to 75,000 cells per second on an average single-core PC. TXLSFile supports Microsoft Excel 97, 2000, XP, and 2003 (BIFF8) file formats, and works with all existing versions of MS Excel. The XLS files produced by TXLSFile conform to the standard, and they can be opened in Excel 2007 and OpenOffice without a problem.
