Microsoft Visio Viewer is an application that enables viewing Visio diagrams and drawings created with Visio 5.0, 2000, 2002, 2003 or 2007 through Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher web browser. It brings functionality of Visio drawings, charts and illustrations in a web-based environment. It is useful especially for teams having members in different locations that need to work together. Visio Drawings can be viewed by simply double clicking Visio files inside Windows Explorer and the drawings will be displayed within Internet Explorers browser window. The Display Settings tab from Properties and Settings dialog box contains rendering and display settings for drawings. Drawing-layer visibility and color settings are found in Layer Settings tab and annotation visibility and color settings reside in Markup Settings tab.
