Develop reports using any prog language, any OS. Rpv can read your ascii files (txt files) and transform them into reports including bitmaps, barcodes, links, etc.. Rpv has a report Viewer and a print server included, allowing to preview the reports or to send them silently to the printer. Perfect tool to migrate old DOS reports to new Windows ones or to integrate a Unix system with Windows printers throught its FTP queue feature. Rpv is able to work like a PC- based TCP/IP network print server (LPD) for Windows platforms. Get print jobs from an Unix system, an AS400 system, or from any system. Rpv enables Windows users to send print jobs to network or host system printers, locally or remotely. If your programming language is able to generate a txt file, then you can work with Rpv! Are working with databases? This tool doesn't connect to any database by itself, but lets you to handle your report from your program, using the language that you want to use.
