Microsoft Developer Network developed the handy Absolute Beginner's Series VWD VB that includes collection of fourteen lessons that you can read for designing and building ASP.NET web sites. The purpose of courses is to provide an introduction to Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition. First lesson is about getting started. In lesson 2, you learn to create a user interface. Lesson 3 is about events and postback. You will learn about web application state in lesson 4. Debugging and Tracing will be taught in lesson 5. You will get to know about style sheet and master pages, databinding and view controls in next lessons. Lesson 9 is all about membership and login controls. You will learn configuring, building and deploying in lesson 10. Next lessons are about building a quiz engine. You can either take these lessons on-line or you can download them to your computer.
