Performance appraisals are frequently neglected in our churches. This may be because the Pastor does not feel he has time, does not know how to give effective evaluations, or does not understand their importance. StaffAppraise is designed to make it easy for pastors to give their staff performance appraisals which truly benefit them. StaffAppraise saves pastors time in two ways. First, its simple question-and-answer interface eliminates the learning curve for giving performance appraisals. StaffAppraise is easy to use and does not require any previous knowledge or experience in evaluating staff members. Second, StaffAppraise uses previous evaluations to pre-populate future evaluations. This means that once you do the first evaluations for a staff person, future evaluations for that same staff person become easier. Previous responsibilities can carry over to the next period, previous goals become future responsibilities, and strengths and areas for improvement may be re-used in future evaluations. StaffAppraise will take you through the process of creating evaluations which will: Review past responsibilities and identify what went well and what could have been done better Identify goals for the upcoming review period Affirm their strengths and give plans for utilizing those strengths Identify areas for improvement and make plans for Progress in those areas As you perform performance appraisals with StaffAppraise you will see the benefit to your staff and be encouraged that you are giving them a tool to help them be more effective.
