Editor's review Unreal II: The Awakening

Unreal II: The Awakening program icon

The player in The Awakening will be able to control John Dalton, who is a former Marine. John Dalton is a Terran Colonial Authority Marshal. His job includes patrolling a remote area of space that is very far away from any appreciable action. John Dalton had been called into service again and he has the duty of retrieving seven pieces of artifacts from ancient time. The artifacts can be used to make real powerful weapons when they are assembled. The plot of the game is in line with a path that looks like that of many of the first person shooter games around. The character in the game visitors a number of planets when searching for the artifacts mentioned above. Each of the levels in the game are designed specially too. Each of the planets has different environment design. The player is expected to hold any particular location against incoming enemies. The player will have to rely on NPCs supports to get this done at times.
