QupZilla program icon

QupZilla is one of the newly created secure open-source world wide web browser in recent years. What started out as a pet project by developers to learn Qt/C++ basics, soon became a fast and reliable web browser From its humble beginning as a simple web browser for learning, the project grew into an everyday utility web browser that was rather fast compared to its contemporaries. Admittedly, QupZilla is not on the same level as the big-name browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, it can still hold its own as a fast and relatively small alternative to take a quick browse of the web. QupZilla Features QupZilla is by no means finished and therefore everyone should expect new features as newer versions are released. Currently, Qupzilla features all the capabilities of a standard web browser and in addition to this, Qupzilla provides a lot of other interesting features that web browsers might like including: * Really fast startup: QupZilla launches at an incredibly fast rate * Lightning fast browsing: Due to the QWebKit core of the QupZilla, it easily renders pages in seconds. * Search Engine Manager: Features an OpenSearch for support and suggestions *SSL Certificate Manager: Keeps users protected by providing warnings first before allowing them to visit pages with bad certificates * Speed Dial: this feature allows quick access to the favourite pages * Browser Themes:Provides support for personalized themes allowing users to creature unique browsers. * Cross Platform: Supports all major operating system platforms and can be used easily with any of them *QupZilla does not even have a registry entry on Windows, hence it is easy to move or uninstall. New in v.1.1.5 * Added French, Portuguese and Greek translations * Qupzilla now uses its own CA certificates database instead of the system one through regular and automatic updates * New tabs are now hidden when moving tabs * added support for loading long locale name qt translations thus allowing for multiple translations for one language * Now Supports page printing with the use of JavaScript window.print() * Middle mouse now opens all bookmarks from a folder * Bigger Icons are now used on a Linux Default Theme * Improved command line options, it is now possible to use multiple options at a time. * other minor fixes
