Latest version: + added filter option by URL + HTML pages are no longer optimized by Default, see filter list. This should fix problems resulting from the stronger caching capatibilities introduced with version 1.20. If you need HTML-caching, please see help on filter tabs (bettercache options) + highly improved Algorithm + Added blacklist and/or whitelist to filter header by content-type + Added option to force no-store for specified content-types + now resists the common ''no validator, no expiration" anti-Cache header and "queries with no expiration header". + improved logging, added HTTPStatus, ContentType, ContentLength, and now full URI (needs less computing time) Removes anti-cache server response headers Web servers often limit a browsers cache by sending special header instructions. Hence some sites won't get cached. There are legal reasons for this behaviour, for example a secure site should not be available all the time. Other servers restrict caching of e.g. Flash videos to prevent downloading from cache. Last not least, every page that contains a query (the ? in the URL) with no expiration time headers sent isn't cacheable. In some cases those restrictions may be annoying or even inappropriate. This extension filters anti-cache headers (e.g. cache-control) to restore full cache functionality. So BetterCache may Improve offline browsing as well as extracting files from cache. Also more JavaScript and other previously uncacheable files get cached. Therefore browsing through the cache can appear smoother. Includes option to enable caching on secure connections. All other cache settings are checked for plausibility and corrected if necessary. Entfernt Anti-Cache Server Antwort Header Die meisten Web-Server limitieren den Cache von Browsern indem sie spezielle Header Instruktionen senden. In vielen Fallen ist das nicht nur ??rgerlich sondern auch unangemessen.
