Editor's review Session Manager
Session Manager builds upon the successes of the SessionStore extension, as it allows users to save the current state of their Mozilla Firefox along with its History, text data and cookies, and then return to the said state at any time of their choosing. Aside from the manually saved states, the extension automatically stores the current state of the browser in case of any unforeseen power outages or crashes. The state of the Firefox browser is stored in a folder entitled sessions which found in the profile directory of the user and can be moved around to any folder just like any file. The folder can be located by simply selecting the “open session folder” option in the Session Manager’s Menu, although this may not work the same as in other operating systems. Another feature is that Session Manager allows users to re-open the last 10 windows and tabs that were closed recently. Session manager may not be compatible with other extensions and thus it is not recommended to use it along with SessionSaver and Tab Mix Plus’s own manager feature. Fortunately, Session Manager is currently better than Tab Mix Plus in terms of the amount of session data stored and yet it is not as complex as Session Saver. Another big plus is that Session Manager can import existing sessions from the two other extensions mentioned.
