Editor's review IconViewer
IconViewer is an app from Bot Productions that is freeware. It is designed to seek and find and let you look at icons that are embedded in files. These files can executables, or DLLs (dynamic link libs). IV is a plugin used with your Windows Op system, specifically for Win Explorer. IV itself is a shell extension. When you locate a file with one or more icons within it, you open its Properties box and you will get an additional tab for icons. Click that icon tab and you now get the IV property page. On it will be a list of the icons that are in that file. You can even do this with a group of files all at the same time. You can also view device images that are in files, just like the icons. You can put these images and icons into a separate file and save that new file. Win XP and 32 bit icons / images are what IV manages. It comes with a great help file and info. You can organize your images / icons by color and or size.
