TetherBridge MIS is a Blackberry tether application to allow a pc (typically a laptop) to connect to the Internet through a Blackberry smartphone. It is NOT a wireless modem solution and does not set up a wireless IP modem tunnel through the cellular network. Instead, it shares the same wireless IP tunnel and IP address with all other TCP/IP applications on the Blackberry. As a result, the user does not need to pay tethering fees associated with wireless IP modem usage.
