Many complaints have been registered about this but the management doesn't seem to care as long as the user's profile does not contain certain verbage or illegal paraphonalia. The newest valid couples and females users are almost instantly flooded with male genitatlia and are, more often than not, fooled by other male subscribers into thinking they are actually with another couple or a female. Some users have also stated that other users have recorded what should have been a private session. If you are interested in males showing their private parts to you whether you want it or not, you should get icuii. Everything "pretender" has said about ICUII is completely true. I'm a young gay male who just turned 30, and I'd thought I'd see what webcam chat was all about so I downloaded ICUII to check it out. When I first logged in to the program I went to Gay #3. I noticed an argument was going on in the room between some guy was mad because his "jack off" video was being forwarded to others without his permission. I then noticed on the right they have a gay room dedicated to those who do poppers. Why would ICUII even support such a room being allowed? I have no clue. I then went to Gay # 2 and a bunch of guys were typing how they wanted to f*ck one another while webcam snapshots of their hard c*cks were being scrolled across the room. Whoa! I then got my first QM. Some older extremely overweight hairy man messaged me asking me if I was looking for a daddy! It scared the crap out of me! I then got a weird QM from another guy who wanted to know if I would donate my cum to him, because he was a cum pig! What the hell? Followed by a couple more QM's & a few live calls by guys who wouldn't show their face, who just wanted to jack off I decided to exit out of ICUII. ICUII is a product that allows you to send instant photo messages or to send recorded video, or to connect to people through live video -- one on one, or in a group chat room. ICUII is most often about sex -- men who like sex, which is most men. And since it's mostly men, the likelihood of meeting gay men exposing themselves is rather high. The images can be good, but the video is often like a series of still photos no matter how fast your connection. As of spring 2006, ICUII is now based on a monthly subscription for access, so about $49 per year. I'm not planning on paying again, and I bet the user base will suffer greatly -- especially among the younger crowd. That switch gets a big frown, but otherwise, it can certainly be an eyeful. The product has gotten better over the years, and I'm sure it can't be free to do all those updates and provide the connection service, but $49 a year is too much for me.

ICUII 8 is great. I was offline for about 6 months (from icuii). I am really happy with the new version. As far as it being too ADULT in content, HELLO!!! There are non-adult rooms that are monitored. But if you are in an adult chat room that is based on sex, then expect anything. Censorship is everywhere, it doesn't belong in an adult chat room, nor do you if it offends..... etc. ICUII is great ,and so are a lot of the people that use it.
