Publisher description for Wclean
WClean is a utility to help and assist home/business/education users in eliminating programs such as P2P programs, Chat programs and any other applications. WClean works with firewalls in shutting down the banned application. WClean has the ability to shut down Kazaa, Msn Messenger, BearShare, RealOnePlayer, Windows Media Player, Winamp or any other applications that you desire. WClean is therefore crucial to a PC and even a laptop when shutting down unwanted applications. How WClean works ? WClean runs as hidden application on the PC. It monitors all running applications by their title bars, and running .exe names with a list in the data file. If an applications title bar or .exe matches any blacklisted text within the data file, it then forces the program to shut the application down. With WClean you can add new applications to the database list, and in a matter of a few seconds have it blocked. One of the features of WClean is that it is hidden from the task list so users cannot close it down by performing a 'Ctrl-Alt-Del' and closing it. The only way to stop it is making changes to the start-up, then rebooting. What Applications can WClean block ? WClean can block many applications such as kazaa, swapnut, eDonkey, BearShare, eMule, MSN Messenger, Mirc, Paltalk, AIM, ICQ, Netmeeting, Winamp, RealOne Player, Task Manager, Remote Havoc, Torrent sites, Torrent Clients, setup .exe???s plus many many more! Any additions can easily be entered, and are not limited to the examples listed above.
