Publisher description for Webcam Timelapse
Webcam Timelapse is a free webcam utility for Windows. As its name suggests, the application was designed to let you create time lapse clips. These are clips made up by single images over time. Usually, images are taken every 20 or 25 seconds, so that a 2-hour time frame can be recorded and seen in a 10-minute clip or so. The main window shows some configuration options and information about the hardware being used. At the top of the screen, you can see web camera in use, and you can select another one and change its resolution if you click on the "..." button. To the right are the camera controls. From here you can stop or start the camera, which will bring up another window, from where you can start the recording process. Immediately below that is the capture delay option. You can choose to set delays in any number of seconds, days, hours or minutes. Below that are other options that let you start the camera with Windows, keep the computer awake, mirror the image horizontally and take a self-pic automatically every day at a given time. In short, this is a nice tool for those who want to create time-lapse movies. The app should work just fine with any USB web camera.
