| Description |
The software product QMSys Threads and Gauges is a program designed for engineers, quality control managers, mechanics, etc., and its purpose is to save time and prevent human errors in determining nominal and limit values of thread parameters. The calculated results are based on international standards and comprise information about values and tolerances of threaded products, working gauges, plug and ring gauges as well as check gauges.
QMSys Threads and Gauges comprises data base and methods of calculating the nominal and limit sizes of the following types of threads:
- Metric Thread acc. to ISO 68-1:1998, DIN 13; Gauges acc. to ISO 1502:1996 or ANSI/ASME B1.16M:1984.
- Metric MJ Thread acc. to ISO 5855-1:1999; Gauges acc. to ISO 1502:1996 or ANSI/ASME B1.16M:1984.
- Unified Thread (UN, UNR) acc. to ANSI/ASME B1.1:2003; Gauges acc. to ANSI/ASME B1.2:1983 or ISO 1502:1996.
- UNJ Thread acc. to ASME B1.15:1995; Gauges acc. to ANSI/ASME B1.2:1983 or ISO 1502:1996.
- ISO Parallel Pipe Thread acc. to ISO 228-1:2000; Gauges acc. to ISO 228-2:1987.
- ISO Taper Pipe Thread acc. to ISO 7-1:1994; Gauges acc. to ISO 7-2:2000 or BS 21:1985, System B.
- ISO Metric Trapezoidal Thread acc. to ISO 2901:1993, DIN 103-1:1993; Gauges acc. to DIN 103-9:1985.
- ISO Stub Metric Trapezoidal Thread acc. to DIN 380:1995; Gauges acc. to DIN 103-9:1995.
- Also threads which are not listed in the standards.
- Special deviations or tolerances.
- Automatic corrections for coatings, statistic and arithmetic tolerance computation.
For determining the pitch diameter during measurement by the 3 wire/ball method, the limiting values of the outcome from measuring by the method described in the publication EA – 10/10 are additionally calculated.
Calculation results can be saved in a file or copied in another program.
