The AVG Rescue program is a set of tools that are very important when it comes to repairing infected machines and computers. Within the program there are important utilities that are beneficial for several types of IT professionals, as well as systems administrators. Within the program, there is an administration toolkit, a system recovery to help repair any virus and spyware infections present on your system. The tool is meant to help those look to fix either their MS Windows or Linux operating system, which are FAT32 and NTFS file systems. You’ll be able to do a clean boot of your entire system, using a CD or a USB stick. You can feel secure when using the program, as there is free support offered to anyone that is a paid license holder of AVG Rescue. As well as the support offered, there are FAQS and a forum for help for those who are only free users of the program. The goal of the program is to keep your system safe, and it does this using anti-virus and anti-spyware programs, that protect you from Trojans, worms, viruses, spyware, identity theft and adware. And within the administration toolkit itself, you’ll have system recover tools, like the AVG Rescue CD. This is a portable version, and can be used with a CD or USB drive – very useful if you’re computer is so infected by a virus that it can’t be loaded normally. Overall, if you go with AVG Rescue, you will have to remove all of the infections that could ruin your computer. It’s even got some bonus features to be aware of, like it’s midnight commander with a panel file manager, a Windows registry editor for experienced users, a test disk hard drive recovery tool, the ability to test the availability of networks and even a text editor that works with many common Linux programs. It’s even a free program, and you only need to pay if you want to get the full technical support that a paid license provides.
