Publisher description for GPT fdisk
GPT fdisk 0.6.10offers users with an easy to use yet effectivetext-mode partitioning tool for Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, and Windows that works on Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) Partition Table (GPT) disks, rather than on the more common (through 2009) Master Boot Record (MBR) partition tables. If this sounds interesting to you, then read on (or skip straight to the "Obtaining GPT fdisk" link if you don't need the GPT pep talk). Major Features: You don't mind using relatively new software. GPT fdisk is currently only at version 0.6.2. I don't know of any current bugs that are likely to cause data loss, but I cannot guarantee that such a bug doesn't exist. You should be particularly cautious when using the program on a disk with existing partitions that hold valuable data.
