- This utility adds to the standard windows by Microsoft's OS and dialog boxes File / Open, File / Save a couple of additional buttons. One of them provides quick access to the "favorite" programs, documents and shortcuts, the other displays a menu with a list of folders, which have been recently invoked by dialogs box: File / Open, File / Save. A very convenient addition, working not only in the windows operating system, but also in all MS Office applications. What's new: the program features are limited to a maximum number of items in the menu.

Navigate easily through Windows folder maze with FileBox eXtender buttons placed on standard Windows file boxes. Access your favorite and recently visited folders and documents with one mouse click or hot key. Make the file boxes bigger to see more folders and files. Optionally FileBX buttons can be also placed on Explorer windows or accessed from the system tray. Also adds a push-pin button to top level window, to toggle their "stay on top" status, and a ro ll-up button to hide window contents except for title bar.

New in ver. 1.70 - Added "Sort columns by..." selections to the "Options" tab. If using the auto-switch to Details view option, these selections allow you to specif y how to sort the files.
