Publisher description for Mark Separator
Mark Separator has been designed to give multiple users the ability to separate a scanned document by placing a mark on it in a given location. The mark can be anything such as a stamp, a check mark an X etc. The program works by monitoring file Folders and when a file arrives the program looks in a specified location and counts the black and white pixels. If the black pixels are above a specific percentage the file is split. Each input folder has rules assigned to it to allow multiple users to use the same or different location for mark placement and output. How It Works: A user places a check mark, an x or uses a rubber stamp to place a mark on a PaGE. Ideally the mark will be in the top left Border, but any area can used. The file is scanned as a G4 multi-page tiff image into a folder and then Mark Separator automatically pulls the file out of the folder and separates it into individual files and places them in an output folder as a tiff or pdf. Mark Separator can be started via a command line so that it can be loaded like a service. It is not a true service, however it can be loaded at startup with no user logged on. All input files must be G4 (black and white) tiff images. The output can be tiff images or PDFs.
