Restorer2000 Data Recovery Software program icon

Restorer Ultimate represents a new generation of data recovery software to replace the well-known, award-winning Restorer2000. It™s a simple and reliable "do-it-yourself" file recovery solution that turns any computer into a powerful data recovery workstation. It enables you to connect any number of disks to your computer to perform file recovery for personal, corporate, or customer needs. An easy-to-use wizard-oriented interface, extensive file search capabilities, graphical file structure representation, file preview to estimate recovery chances, variety of places to store recovered files all combine to make this software number one choice for data recovery professionals as well as for home and small office users. Restorer Ultimate PRO version also includes support for RAID reconstruction and data recovery, no matter how complex the RAID layout, as well as raw file recovery (file search for their signatures), support for Macintosh and Linux/Unix file systems, an advanced text/hexadecimal editor, and much more to solve virtually any file and data recovery task. The Network version can connect to a remote computer, open and scan its hard drives, partitions, or their parts and recover files from a remote computer much as Restorer Ultimate can for a local device. Restorer 6.x works with arbitrary RAID6 and supports exFAT. NTFS parsing algorithm was optimized as well.

I had a corrupt Extnd LBA partition on a 46GB drive (using NTFS). Restorer2000 successfully recovered all of the contents (~20GB) that I feared were lost. Installation was a breeze ...although steps to recover lost data were not intuitive (immediately apparent). There are less expensive products (some Free), but I wouldn't risk it.

Since replacing my pc less than a year ago, I had gotten out of the habit of backing up my data. Unfortunately, my drive crashed and the PC wouldn't recognize it at all. Restorer2000 was well worth the $50. I didn't get everything back, but I did get the essentials (thankfully).

This program is a real 'gem'-stone Imaging the next case (it did happen = Murphy’s law, and my mistake of course). 1. first deframentation of the hard disk. 2. creating an backup image of the disk 3. deleted all the files. 4. formatted the disk. 5. Deleted the partition of the disk. 6. test the original restore of the image backup disk fails (grrrr). 7. Start worrying. I have tested (means : downloaded :o) ) a great number of recovery tools. Some were neat, some other where very useful. But this ‘gem’ was the only one piece of software to recover all (>> 99.95 %) the data without a simple problem. Afterwards it was just manual editing of the directory folder structure and everything was back. It surprised me that the older (obsolete) structures of the directory structure where still visible (and even some files where recoverable). The program looks a bit flawless but the main power is it simplicity (speed) and it’s strength. And it runs under Windows based platforms. Highly recommended A+.

This program recovered files from a partition that I formatted with NTFS (the old partition was FAT16). It found my files without any problem! Very good!

I can restore my files from deleted NTFS win2000 partiton. When I try to open my excel file, it did not show the correct information. It shows strange characters. I will not suggest using this product.
