Publisher description for File and Directory - Scramble and Jettis
Securely and easily wipe files, Folders and folder structures of meaningful data, making it useless for third parties. Files and folders can be selected separately and from different folders. It???s important to overwrite the contents of file with meaningless information and rename them equally meaninglessly. This can be difficult, and may very well become very time consuming. That is where File and Directory ??? Scramble and Jettison comes in. You can select files and directories as you choose. These are then quickly and effectively overwritten (scrambled), randomly named and deleted (jettisoned). You can also let it rename and remove the directories if you like. File and Directory ??? Scramble and Jettison also offers an option to pause after scrambling and renaming, but prior to deleting a file, so you can view the changes, and feel confident that the result has absolutely nothing in common with the original file. File and Directory ??? Scramble and Jettison is free for personal, non-commercial use, but if you are satisfied with it, and feel it could save you money, embarrassment, or legal problems, you might consider making a DONATION. Changelog: 1.1 Fixed German menu translation. Fixed error making check boxes non-permanent. Added a Link to the homepage. 2.0 The design was changed. No installer is required.
