In one mouse click your selected folders became invisible: it is impossible to find hidden folders, access any file in then and remove them (even when removing upper-level folde rs). You may leave your computer unattended without worrying if someone will access your private data. Then just run the program and enter your password - your hidden folders will become visible instantly. Free version of the program allows to hide up to 2 folders. Hide Folders Pro allows to hide and password protect up to 16 folders at the same time.

This software DOES protect the folders, but does not allow you to password protect the actual software until you purchase the PRO version. So anyone could get into the software and unprotect the folders. That's not the idea behind "freeware". The term freeware in relation to this software is misleading
