With Mobile2ServerTroubleshooter v2.0 (M2ST), one can troubleshoot a remote server easily using its own mobile device. The application is based upon J2ME MIDP2 technology and establishes secure connection between the mobile device and a remote server, hence, giving the user flexibility to connect with its server from anywhere, anytime. All user has to do is to open this application on his mobile device, establish contact with the server and give necessary system commands using virtual keypad to the server. Unlike telnet, M2ST encrypts data on mobile side for ssh connection before sending it to the server to prevent any unauthorized access on its way. The only prerequisites to run this application is to have a mobile device that supports J2ME MIDP2 technology (kindly refer your mobile user manual to verify this), And secure shell (ssh) and/or telnet on server side.
