Editor's review Auto Macro Recorder

Auto Macro Recorder program icon

There are a number of benefits in recording everything that is done on a computer. You should be able to record all the things that anyone does either by using the keyboard or mouse. You should use Auto Macro Recorder, which as its name indicates, helps you to record macros to a script file. You will then be able to adjust the script files so that you can replay them whenever you want. It is very easy to use Auto Macro Recorder, where all you will need to do is to record, save, and replay the files. You will be able to record even details from program that do not support macros. You should also no start fretting when you do not know what macros are, as there is no need of any programming knowledge.

If your application requires specific timing and/or mouse control grab a stop watch and ruler. I did not see anyway to create a macro for anything other than one specific situation. If you run the macro and some settings are not exactly as when you recorded the macro it does not work.

ZoneAlarm popped up an alert saying "Program Microsoft _______ would like to access the internet" as soon as I ran Auto Macro Recorder. Wonder what it would have sent and to whom if I had let it. It does say it captures passwords. Made me even more nervous since it tried to disguise itself as a Microsoft program.

I have been trying some of these macro recorders / players out, I like this one at first but now I do not. There is no way to play more than one macro at a time, I set it to replay 3 times and it would not stop, tried to stop with the F11 key and nothing, had to kill it. Feature request would be an editor of some sort. Won't work for me, nice interface though. just wished it worked a bit better, especially the loop.
