- A console Win32 application for backup files copying, restoring data from the backup and synchronizing directories contents. There is support of archive data compression through algorithms gz or zip. You can use all available methods of backup: traditional copying files and directories; copying data in the stack of numbered zip files or directories of determined depth; incremental backup in the style of a unix program dump; directories synchronization (mono-and bi-directional). Advantages of the program include its small size, high speed and enhanced settings; work with exclusive and include masks; customizable editing of empty folders and remote files, as well as the ability to run arbitrary applications before or after copying allowing for return codes and logging all operations.

nnBackup is a small and convenient tool for backing up and synchronizing your files and folders, creating and processing file-lists. When backing up you can optionally compress the data using gz or zip algorythms and start specified applications before and after main backup process. nnBackup includes special tools for removing obsolete data from the backup.
Using nnBackup you can choose one of the following backup methods:
- conventional copying of files and folders,
- copying your data into a special numbered stack of folders or zip-files with predefined depth,
- incremental backup (like the one, used in Unix 'dump' utility),
- folder synchronization (one- or bidirectional).
Main nnBackup advantages are:
