QTFairUse for ITunes is a free application designed to convert protected m4p files that were purchased in the iTunes Music Store to unprotected m4a files and play them anywhere you want. The converted m4a files will be stored next to the original ones. To stop the conversion during the process press CTRL-C in the console window or close iTunes. If you want to convert only specific m4p files just drag and drop the files on QTFairUse6.exe. The files will be converted and the program will close. QTFairUse6 can sometimes clean up incorrectly, resulting in iTunes crashing. Restart iTunes and deploy the process again. iTunes could become unresponsive when the sound output is disabled. However the converted tracks will still be correct.
